PRE-NATAL /
PREGNANCY YOGA CLASSES
Pregnancy is such a special time in your life
when you need to nurture both the body and soul. As
your baby develops in the womb it is important that
you create time and space to integrate the process
of change which is taking place. Yoga can help you
do this by bringing your mind and awareness into
your body and helping to bring harmony and balance.
This can be especially important if you have a busy
or stressful life. Pregnancy Yoga will leave you
feeling relaxed and focused and with more energy.
It can also ease and relieve some common complaints
associated with pregnancy.

During the classes we cover classic yoga
postures focusing particularly on opening postures
for easier movement during pregnancy and labour.
The postures are complemented with breathing
techniques that you can use during your pregnancy
and labour.

Each class ends with some deep relaxation. Yoga
postures which can be used during Labour are also
demonstrated.
Pregnancy Yoga Classes are suitable for all
women during pregnancy from about 15 weeks onwards.
No yoga experience is necessary. If you are
attending a doctor, physio etc. check with them
before coming along.
Classes are adapted fully to the needs of

|
After the birth of your child you may want to
get back into practicing yoga. Post Natal Yoga
classes are adapted for women who have given birth
recently and the focus is on using postures, which
protect the back during this delicate time. The
classes cover many gentle postures which are
adaptable to your changing body, and can help you
ease back into shape.

The best thing about this class is you bring your
baby along and integrate them into your practice.
Classes are suitable 6-8 weeks after the birth of
your child. Check with your doctor before attending

YOGA
FOR CHILDREN

|
|
|
|
|
|
Classes are designed for children aged three to
seven years old. The children are led through
creative stories and exciting adventures that
stimulate their imagination. Whilst enjoying a
variety of safe postures, the children sing songs,
play games and work together.

|
The stories involve a wonderful combination of
stretches, back arches, twists and balances. These
combine to support and strengthen children, not
only physically but also mentally by building
confidence in themselves, improving their
concentration and helping them to sleep better. and
help to maintain their natural flexibility.
